    The National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center presents the 6th annual national juried art show entitled The Art of SOUL!, which opened on Sept. 14, 2019. This year, 45 artists from across the United States will exhibit 85 works of art in the following categories: Social Justice, Identity, and Surroundings. The artwork will represent themes and perspectives related to the African diaspora and/or African American culture, history or experience. This year’s judging panel includes: Louis Delsarte, a world-renowned painter, muralist, printmaker and illustrator. Mr. Delsarte is a professor of Fine Arts at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia; Myrtis Bedolla, the founding director of Galerie Myrtis, a contemporary fine art gallery located in Baltimore, Maryland; and Key Jo Lee, the assistant director for Academic Outreach at The Cleveland Museum of Art in Cleveland, Ohio. The exhibit will run from Sept. 14 through Feb. 29, 2020. Museum admission: $6/adult, $5/senior, $3/ages 6–17, Free/Ohio History Connection & NAAMCC members.
