Qigong in the Garden
Join us as we gather inside the Edible Garden at Cox Arboretum at dawn (appropriately socially distanced, of course) to listen to our energy, body, and state of well-being – and in the process breathe deeply, move slowly and wake up our energy for the day . . . with Qigong. Immortal Tree Qigong will guide participants through Qigong routines that help each participant better understand their own nature—without judgment or competition. The hour-long session will start with breathing exercises, warm up, Qi activation and gentle stretching. Participants will then be guided through flowing movements each punctuated by a short standing meditation. We will end with a slightly longer guided standing meditation before we bow out.
*Due to COVID requirements set forth by Five Rivers MetroParks, session size is currently restricted to 10 participants. The intent of Immortal Tree Qigong sessions is to embrace What Is – that means COVID restrictions as well as weather. That’s right, we practice in ALL weather (except dangerous weather) So for now, I ask that you please RSVP to monica@immortaltreeqigong.com for each class so I can manage participant numbers. I will be offering a waiting list because life happens. So, I also ask that you please treat your RSVP with respect because others are potentially hoping to join if you’re not able to. Finally, visit https://immortaltreeqigong.com/what-to-know/ to learn tips for dressing in any kind of weather!
Classes will be free through the end of year so that you can learn more about qigong and because 2020 has been the kind of year that NEEDS Qigong!
