Dayton OH – Over 700 solar home and business owners across the nation are hosting solar open houses to share their experience of going solar as part of the National Solar Tour. Now in its 23rd year, the National Solar Tour is the largest grassroots solar event in the United States. Dayton area community members and homeowners will join tens of thousands of others touring solar homes and businesses.
Attending a solar open house is a great way for homeowners to learn about solar energy from someone who has gone solar themselves. Open house attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions, connect with other community members interested in solar, and learn about how to go solar themselves. Solar United Neighbors and the American Solar Energy Society are coordinating this year’s National Solar Tour. Five local sites in Dayton, Oakwood, and Germantown can be toured on either Saturday, October 6th or Sunday, October 7th.
