Four Week Movement Series
What: Learn the basics of movement through dance while tuning in to what your body needs to feel refreshed
Where: The Brightside Music & Event Venue
When: 7pm on Mondays from September 27th to October 18th
Bring: Water bottle, towel, yoga mat if you own one, and your beautiful self!
Attire: Whatever makes you feel comfortable and sneakers!
After retiring from a 10 year professional ballet career, Brittany Butler will be offering a wellness program through her company, Brittany Moves, which is centered around the art of dance. Have no fear, a prior dance requirement is not necessary for this movement series! This four week program will safely teach you the seven fundamentals of dance which can translate to many activities of your daily living, improve your body's functions, emotional and mental health, and simply make you feel good. We will be starting with the basics and working through movements that will continually build. Let me not forget to mention the fun part; groovy music, new moves, and a lot of laughs!
