The Springboro Community Foundation will kick off the 33rd annual Christmas in Historic Springboro Festival on November 22. This three day holiday event begins with a tree lighting opening ceremony on Friday, November 22nd at 6:45 p.m. and will run until the end of the evening on Sunday, November 24th.
The festival provides shopping from local shops along main street in addition to multiple craft vendor tents, great food from a variety of local food trucks, entertainment from local performance groups in and Springboro Community Schools. Christmas in Springboro also features a 5K Fun Run/Walk at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 23 and a Parade that runs through downtown on Saturday at noon, Also, we can't forget the incredible complimentary activities for kids with several visits from Santa throughout the weekend!
Each year, the goal of the festival is to donate back to local charities within our community. Some of those charities include the Springboro, Community Assistance Center, The Pantry serving Franklin, Springboro and Carlisle and Operation Santa through the Springboro Police Department. The Christmas in Springboro committee is dedicated to annually increasing the amount we can give back and benefit the local community.Springboro Community Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit that’s works hard all year long to host the Springboro in Historic Springboro Festival year after year.
We could not be as successful as we are without our generous sponsors: Secure Cyber Defense, Blue Vines Events & Marketing, City of Springboro, Southwest Church, Everdry Waterproofing, Niki Gulick - Henkle Scheuler, ImproveIt Home Remodeling, Dayton Children's Hospital and Agape for Youth.
