Anytown Youth Leadership Institute is an intensive educational retreat for high school students run by the National Conference for Community and Justice of Greater Dayton. Delegates of the program learn about diversity and inclusion by partaking in experiential activities and workshops. Students will also be taught how to engage in dialogue about topics such as race, gender, religion, sexual orientation and economic status.
Registration is now open for the two upcoming sessions, which are from November 1 to 3, 2019 and March 13 to 15, 2020 at the Cricket Holler Scout Camp. Both sessions are open to any current high school sophomores through seniors from the Miami Valley.
The cost of Anytown includes the $25 registration fee and the $150 camp fee. Need-based scholarships are available, and the camp is free for students qualifying for free or reduced lunch. Applications are available at: www.nccjgreaterdayton.org/Anytown.
